although now the steps are
not any longer illuminated
when I’ve taken seat on a line 1 vaporetto – outside what else – I use to take a deep breath, feeling glad to be finally here again
than, moved in at a hotel room, I become calm and get into what I call my Venice mood
this mixture of gladness and adventurship accompanes me as well as my camera when I roam through well known or to me still unknown areas
a real attraction in Venice are the very few small retail shops not jet transformed to souvenir shops
